Hydrogen Generator Monitoring and Control Unit
Dunasys was selected to provide a monitoring and control unit for integration into a hydrogen generator developed for a client in the naval sector. Here’s how it works!
Context & Challenges
Maritime and road transportation are at the center of today’s environmental challenges. To reduce emissions, a manufacturer working for a client in the naval sector sought to integrate a monitoring and control unit into its hydrogen generator. The objective was to manage hydrogen production according to engine operating conditions while ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.
Our Contribution
Dunasys designed a custom monitoring and control unit capable of:
- Automatically controlling hydrogen production based on engine operating conditions (start-up, shutdown, temperature);
- Supervising and monitoring temperatures throughout the hydrogen transfer process up to the combustion chamber;
- Reducing fuel consumption.
The solution was developed from scratch while leveraging proven Dunasys technologies, ensuring high levels of reliability and robustness.
